Article 3 of the Italian Code of Professional Ethics states: “Activities abroad and activities of foreign lawyers in Italy. 1. When practising abroad, an Italian lawyer must comply with domestic professional ethics rules and those of the country in which the activity is carried out. 2. In the event of conflict between the two sets of rules, those of the host country prevail, provided they do not conflict with the public interest in the proper practice of the profession. 3. A foreign lawyer practising in Italy must comply with Italian professional ethics rules.".
In accordance with the principles of both the Bulgarian and Italian codes of professional ethics, the Firm adopts its own Policy aimed at clarity and transparency.
Clients have the right, in both Italy and Bulgaria, to know in advance the costs of judicial and out-of-court legal advice. Legal practice cannot, however, be standardised, and it is therefore never possible to foresee every step needed to employ all the means required to provide clients with the fullest protection. Nevertheless, after a preliminary examination of the client's requirements, a clear estimate of the costs of the work can be provided.
