Bulgaria in the Top Ten for Start-ups — image from the original website

Sofia among the Top 10 start-up destinations This is the conclusion of Richard Madison of the Brighton School of Business, published in Forbes. In recent years, the Bulgarian capital has become a hub for seed-stage businesses in the Balkans, thanks in part to the very important role of two accelerators, Eleven and LauncHub, which have funded more than 170 businesses. The winning factors include 56.7% high-speed internet coverage, company registration costs of around €200 and a flat income tax of 10%. Beijing and Shenzhen are in first place (46% coverage, €1 to register a company, 25% corporate income tax and a 17% VAT rate).

The analysis confirms the excellent prospects for development and growth of Bulgaria’s business environment; setting up a company in Bulgaria and starting your business is very advantageous.
