Bulgarian National Statistical Institute turns 136 — image from the original website

In June 2016, Bulgaria’s National Statistical Institute turned 136. Its continuous work portrays Bulgaria as a growing economy seeking to improve its position and prosperity. In May, the business confidence indicator recorded a substantial increase. Bulgarian entrepreneurs are confident about economic and growth prospects.

According to preliminary NSI data, in the first quarter of 2016 the cost to employers (Bulgarian companies) per hour worked by their Bulgarian employees increased by 7.7% compared with the first quarter of 2015.
