During the last week of November, a series of meetings took place between delegations of Chinese entrepreneurs and Bulgarian authorities to establish cooperation aimed at increasing trade between the two countries. The opportunities Bulgaria offers were presented to the Chinese entrepreneurs: industrial sites near Sofia and Plovdiv, excellent access to Europe thanks to its strategic location, reasonably priced labour and low taxation. Certified foreign investors in Bulgaria enjoy preferential treatment both in relation to additional financial benefits and to administrative permits. Chinese entrepreneurs are interested in logistics for imports, exports and access to the European market, as well as in industry and agriculture. China is on its way to becoming a strong trading partner for Bulgaria.
