The National Insurance Institute announced that average insurable income in the country for December 2015 was 783.76 lev (average monthly insurable income for the period from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2015 was 726.40 lev).

This is the average gross wage in Bulgaria for the period used in the calculation.
