Bulgaria as an offshoring destination — image from the original website

According to global management consultancy AT Kearney, Bulgaria remains an attractive offshoring destination. This is demonstrated by the seventh edition of Kearney's Global Services Location Index, published earlier this week. Bulgaria ranks 12th, down three places from 2014. Although the country left the top ten because of increases in taxes and regulatory costs, the index identified Bulgaria as a highly competitive location within the EU. The consultancy noted that Bulgaria has been a European nearshoring destination for many years and is deepening its expertise and experience in the sector. The index ranks 55 countries in three main categories — financial attractiveness, people's skills and availability, and business environment. India, China and Malaysia continue to occupy the top three positions.
